HTML Background Color Welcome to the MSL website Our Branch took part in the Platinum Jubilee event in New Malden on Saturday 4th June. The start of the day was very wet and windy so our rather well used gazebo finally

fell apart and David made an emergency mission to B&Q to buy a new one. When we eventually manage to get set up for the day the weather did improve a bit.

We did a 'prize every time tombola' for children and various Poppy products on the stall. The event was reasonably well attended and very multicultural with performances

and food not just from British residents but also Tamil, Korean, Sri Lankan and Chinese people in our local community.

One of the bands included performers from 9 years old to 69 years old all playing together. The Mayor attended the event and visited our stall.
